About the role

We are seeking a talented and highly versatile new member to join our team. Working with fellow designers and developers, your main focus will be on creating captivating, innovative & mobile-friendly websites and supporting custom application developers. You will mainly be involved in designing and coding custom themes for WordPress based websites as well as working on both design & front-end development for larger-scale sites. This role will combine creativity and technical skills, therefore a strong eye for design detail and the ability to bring those concepts to fruition is key.

Front-End Development

• Implementing designs using CSS, HTML and jQuery
• Highly Proficient in responsive HTML & CSS development
• Proficient in jQuery / JavaScript
• Proficient in WordPress theme development
• Proficient in responsive email development
• Working knowledge of frameworks such as Bootstrap & Foundation
• Working knowledge of Flexbox
• Experience developing with AMP
• Experience working directly in PHP

Design Expertise

• Website design, UI/UX
• Ensuring brand consistency for each of our clients

Applications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Skills

• Proficient in Technical SEO
• Proficient in cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility
• Working knowledge of mobile-first theory
• Working knowledge of SEO/SEM fundamentals
• Working knowledge of web accessibility guidelines
• Working knowledge of microdata/schema
• Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify & Big Commerce
• Experience working with social media platforms
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Sharp Spring a plus

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years in an equivalent role
