AIMG’s Design Helps Evelyn’s Kitchen Reach Funding Goal

 Thrilled with AIMG’s design of the website and Café Board app, gourmet Executive Chef and owner Ayala Donchin turned to AIMG to design her funding campaign site.

“The goal was to create a design that reflected the spirit of the emerging company and excite viewers to make a donation” said Joe DeMicco, Founder & CEO of AIMG. “Working with the company’s business development team, we created a look and feel that not only matched the company’s corporate branding but seamlessly weaved together the concept of their “dangerously delicious” food and the reasons for requesting donations. In addition to the design and set-up of the campaign page, we also worked with the client to develop a collateral email campaign to generate a targeted audience. The result was a huge success, with the client surpassing her funding goal in about 30 days.” is a funding platform for creative projects. With thousands of projects making funding requests through the site, it is important to stand out from the crowd. By integrating video and images that tempt the palate, AIMG’s design enticed readers to engage with the content and learn more about the EK Café appeal. Appearing down the right column, readers learned what they would receive for making a pledge of a specified amount. As a further incentive, tallies of the pledged amounts were posted so readers could see the number of backers supporting the client’s appeal. The campaign was launched August 30th, 2012. Less than a month later, the campaign raised $28,801, exceeding its funding goal by $1,801.
