Accurate Imaging Creates New Database-Driven Website Design with Custom "Smart Search" Application for Leading Machine Vision Distributor Phase 1 Tech

Accurate Imaging created a new ecommerce website and an advanced on-site "Smart Search" function for leading machine vision distributor Phase 1 Technology Corp.

Phase 1 Technology Corp. is a large distributor of machine vision products representing many brand name OEMs. The new website design provides both an updated design and a more focused presentation of the products. The database-driven website organizes products first by a broad category, such as Industrial Cameras. Then the "Smart Search" function allows the user to narrow his search via drop-down lists. The customer is allowed to select the exact product attributes that are searchable within the database. Once a customer has the list of products of potential interest to him, he is able to click a hyperlink that takes him directly to the detailed product page that has both an image and description. From the selected product page the customer can choose to place the item in his cart. The customer is able to fill his cart and submit the RFQ request directly from the website.

Phase 1 Technology Corp. has a large inventory of in-stock machine vision products. Because manufacturers are constantly adding new products to their lines, they often do not have information readily available for products that are no longer considered "new". Accurate Imaging developed a custom application to enable Phase 1 Technology Corp. to manage all product sales assets, including older stocked products. In addition to developing the application, Accurate also acquired from the OEMs product information for older stocked products and trained Phase 1's administrator how to both administer and take full advantage of the application. Additional products are being added continuously and search engine optimization and marketing strategies are being implemented to increase rank in select keyword searches for Phase 1's products.
