Accurate Imaging created a new corporate ecommerce website design for Bendheim to better represent its esteemed reputation and to promote its architectural glass. The Bendheim company, leaders in the manufacture and distribution of specialty glass since the 1920’s, have a number of divisions, of which architectural glass is one. Accurate Imaging suggested a phased approach to the new website design for the various divisions, allowing for marketing copy, images and search engine optimization to be highly focused to target each specific audience group.
The first phase of the project involved the re-design and improved function of the corporate website and the development of the architectural glass division. The Accurate Imaging team worked with Bendheim to learn about its vast array of products and services. The new look and feel of the newly designed website clearly represents the high quality and versatility of Bendheim products. The website is sectioned both by the glass divisions, such as architectural glass, wall systems, restoration glass, and so forth, and by industry audience. The architectural glass division, a focus of this phase of the project, has a section for each of the specific audience groups, namely architects, librarians, contractors and developers.
The final element of this phase of the website design project was the copywriting. A conference call brought together the copywriter and the three Bendheim executives, who were each at a different location. The copywriter worked with existing text and created new copy for each section of the site. Additionally, the copywriter continues to enhance the site with search engine optimized copy, title tags and meta data. The search engine optimization portion of the project is ongoing as the website development continues through the next phases toward completion.
