The start-up computer technology and design company out of Miami, Florida, Xyber Technologies selected AIMG | Accurate Imagingto prepare them for the DigitalLife 2007 trade show in New York City and the official unveiling to the world of their revolutionary patented fan-less computer cooling system technology.
Working within a tight schedule, AIMG secured a prime booth location and coordinated communications with the show's representatives. Additionally, because Xyber is a new company unfamiliar to consumers, AIMG developed and promoted a contest to make DigitalLife trade show attendees aware of the Xyber booth and to encourage them to visit.
Initially the trade show booth layout was designed to allow visitors to experience Xyber's MK Series of high performance silent desktop PCs for high end gaming, business, home/office and home theater systems while sales staff talk with prospective customers. But a near disaster caused by a leading courier service, resulting in the destruction of multiple necessary booth display items, was avoided as AIMG representatives worked furiously to obtain needed displays from various resources and created an innovative plan to feature the units that were operational and utilize effectively those that were not. With the top off of the units to display Xyber's patented fan-less cooling technology, booth attendees were captivated and photos and reviews of the unit appeared on a number of technology websites and blog sites including PC Magazine, Techgage, ITP Blogblender and Gameriot, among others.
"Trade shows can be very stressful events for clients as they are normally making rather large investments in their booth and product displays and want everything to go as smoothly as possible. With so many outside factors to contend with, the key to a successful showing is to have a solid plan, be acutely aware of factors that may affect that plan and remain flexible to adjust accordingly within a fixed timeline. With this project, all of the advance planning made it possible to have a successful show despite the issues that arose": Joe DeMicco – AIMG
AIMG researched, negotiated and contracted talent to attract booth visitors and provide a brief introduction to Xyber Technologies and its new cooling system. In order to keep booth visitors engaged at all times, AIMG created a Power Point Presentation that explained how the new technology works. As a part of the presentation, AIMG's designers created an animated illustration to show how the cooling system draws the heat away from the computer components and CPU. The presentation was broadcast on two 50" Samsung Plasma Screens.
AIMG has been working with Xyber Technologies for five months, having recently completed the ecommerce website for their official launch on August 17th and a sales presentation for NASA. Completing projects in record time, AIMG created all of the marketing materials for both the trade show and follow-up marketing initiatives, including web copy, promotional summaries, press releases, the media kit, a pitch letter to the media, letterhead, business cards, folders, product sell sheets, booth signage and promotional items. AIMG arranged all media coverage and acted as point person for all live interviews. AIMG provided post-show support including follow-up with the media and business leads.
AIMG works with start-up companies on all aspects of online and offline marketing, advertising and publicity to ensure they are effectively represented to their target audience groups.
