AIMG Enhances CMS Website for Prestigious US Art Club

As part of the next phase of website development for the Salmagundi Club, one of the oldest art organizations in the United States, AIMG recently added several new administrative features to enhance the site’s functionality.

“Because the original site was built on a flexible architecture,” said Joe DeMicco, Founder & CEO of AIMG, “we are able to continue to cost effectively develop and implement tools and functionality over time as client needs arise. The new functionality allows the client to serve not only the distinguished artists who represent their membership but the diverse audiences who attend their events and support their artists as well. Overall, the enhancements benefit the client on both the administrative side and the public end-user side.”

The new administrative functionality allows the site’s administrators to securely logon to the Admin of the editable content management system to add new events that will display on the Home page or just on the Events calendar. Additionally, these event announcements can be linked through specific calls-to-action to standalone pages on the site that provide more comprehensive event details including a link to the ticket purchasing application when needed.

Within the new Interactive Member Profiles page, the Admin application allows site administrators to create separate artist profile pages and assign a unique username and password to each one. Using their assigned username and password, each artist member can then access his/her own page to add artwork and update profile information that they can set to make live right away for public viewing.

"Working with AIMG to redesign and rebuild the Salmagundi Club website,” said Claudia Seymour, President of the Salmagundi Club, “has been a very successful and most collegial endeavor.  AIMG personnel have been unfailingly creative and helpful in making it possible for our organization to bring an outmoded site into the 21st century with expanded features and greater ease of use.  We are thrilled with their efforts."

AIMG develops and builds custom website solutions to fulfill a wide variety of marketing and administrative needs.
