The new design of Kaydon Custom Filtration’s website launched today. Kaydon Custom Filtration Corporation designs and builds industrial oil filtration equipment and fuel filtration equipment for various markets. Accurate Imaging was first contracted by Kaydon Filtration back in 1999 to create the previous site and has been hosting the site ever since. The new design incorporates the company’s new branding and uses some familiar elements from previous versions of the site. The navigation structure has also been greatly improved. The new structure minimizes the amount of pages a user must click through to get to important product information by listing all product categories on the side of each page.
Along with the new design and navigation structure, the new website includes a viewable online tech video, downloadable PDF literature, links to CAD data through Thomas Register’s CADregister.com, online ordering enabled through Thomas Register’s Order Online system, and a "Request CD-ROM" online form. The CD-ROM, an offline solution developed by Accurate Imaging, has the ability to dial into the Kaydon website via the end-user’s internet connection. The site was also enhanced to integrate sub-companies (Turbo-Toc, FilterDyne, Clean Fuel & Bowser) into one site without the end-user feeling like they left the site. The sub-companies are linked differently from the rest of the products (upper right corner of the web page) in order to visually distinguish them as a separate group of offerings.
