AIMG’s long time client Matco-Norca, the largest independent sourcing company for fittings, valves, and plumbing specialties for the plumbing, heating, waterworks, irrigation and industrial markets, wanted a way to market their lead free products using their existing website application. Having developed the original website application and content management system, AIMG was able to modify it to accommodate Matco’s new business objectives.
To effectively promote Matco-Norca’s lead-free products, a link from the home page takes interested buyers to the Lead Free Products page within the dynamic product catalog. Once they arrive, they are greeted with an entirely new “green” look and feel to indicate they are in the lead-free products section. Interacting with the product catalog in exactly the same manner to which they have become accustomed, site visitors can easily click to the sub-category and product levels to find what they need. From the end-user’s perspective, the only noticeable difference is the look and feel, which being green helps them to know they are looking specifically at lead free products.
