AIMG Enhances and Re-Designs Website Content Management System for Foundation

Providing an updated website design and new functionality, AIMG recently launched the custom website content management system developed for its longstanding client the ‘Foundation for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types’ (FIRST).

In an effort to coordinate its strategic initiatives, including an updated logo and a comprehensive marketing plan, FIRST worked with AIMG to uncover ways to ensure that the new website clearly served each of its distinct target audience groups. The bright, upbeat look and feel of the new website design works to convey a positive feeling while providing users with a pleasant on-site experience. The re-designed navigational structure makes it easy for users to locate the information that interests them while allowing the client to independently update content and add web pages related to each user group.
The updated functionality of the content management system website application allows the client to achieve many things, not least among them the ability to solicit and accept donations online. They are also able to keep their diverse audience up-to-date on current News and Events, including a Calendar of Events where they can provide readers with specific information concerning event registration, dates and locations. The easy-to-use Regional Support Network tool allows users to click on a region of the map to learn both the type and volume of available services as well as send an email inquiry directly to a local regional center. Other features of the application include: an integrated Publications/Educational Library containing downloadable documents and images; access to educational videos available at the client’s designated channel on YouTube.com; information about past and current Research projects; and an entire section dedicated to the needs of Medical Professionals that offers interactive Educational Modules, Physician Referral Services, Research, and a unique service that allows medical professionals to upload their particular case to receive advice from the experts.
In order to support efforts to reach and engage families, research experts, medical professionals, and supporters, the website provides easy access to the client’s social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.
AIMG works with both non-profit and for-profit organizations to develop an overall marketing strategy and website solution that works to effectively represent the mission statement while achieving both long term and short term business objectives.
